Mohawk Terrace Apartments

Mohawk Terrace Senior Apartments provides 69 units of dedicated senior housing, with 68 units featuring project-based Section 8 rental assistance. This revitalization project, funded in 2013 through HFA tax-exempt bonds, 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), and a subsidy loan, underwent substantial rehabilitation.

Completed in August 2014, the renovation included extensive upgrades such as new kitchens, ENERGY STAR appliances, modernized bathrooms, new windows and doors, updated flooring, roofing, elevators, and masonry work, ensuring a comfortable and contemporary living environment for its senior residents.
