Golden Age Apartments offers 100 units of affordable senior housing in Norwich, NY, with 76 units featuring Section 8 assistance. The preservation and substantial rehabilitation of this property were funded through the HFA Housing Opportunities for Preservation in the Empire State (HOPES) program, tax-exempt bonds with 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), and HUD Section 236 decoupling.

Liberty Affordable Housing acquired Golden Age Apartments in 2006, with renovations completed in 2007. The extensive upgrades included the installation of two full-sized elevators, new accessible entrances, and refreshed common areas with new carpeting and painting. Each apartment was enhanced with new Energy Star appliances, updated kitchens and bathrooms, new windows, and fresh carpeting, ensuring a modern and comfortable living environment for residents.
