Greenway Apartments

Greenway Apartments, located in Baldwinsville, NY, is a 208-unit family housing development that provides affordable living options for both families and seniors. Purchased by Liberty Affordable Housing Inc. in late 2012, this preservation project is situated within Radisson, a planned community initially developed in the mid-1970s.

Construction began in December 2011 and was completed ahead of schedule and under budget by March 2013. The project was funded through the HFA Mitchell-Lama Preservation program, utilizing tax-exempt bonds with 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and a HUD Section 236 decoupling.

The substantial rehabilitation included major updates such as a new office building, new windows and doors, roofs, vinyl siding, and landscaping. Building heating and cooling systems were upgraded, and each apartment received new Energy Star appliances, updated flooring, and refreshed kitchens and bathrooms, ensuring modern and efficient living spaces for residents.
