Mariner Towers, formerly known as Maryner Towers, is a 292-unit family project that consists of 204 units in four 7-story tower buildings and 88 units in seventeen 2-story town home buildings. There is a mix of one, two, and three bedroom apartments at the complex.

The substantial rehabilitation includes new kitchens, ENERGY STAR appliances, baths, windows and doors, flooring, roofs, elevators, and masonry work. The rehab of Mariner Towers was completed in March of 2014.

This very complicated deal would not have been possible without the cooperation and collaborative effort of NYS HFA, Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, Inc., the City of Buffalo, the Federal Home Loan Bank and NBT Bank. CRM Rental Management, Inc. will continue to manage the complex.

Health and safety issues were addressed with the installation of a sprinkler system in the four tower buildings and extensive environmental abatement in all buildings and grounds. Site work included repaved parking lots, landscaping, sidewalks, fencing and new signage, which features the new “Mariner” name signifying a new era for Mariner Towers.
